![]() It is shown on both the home screen and the menu page. The “Mind Clear” function helps users clear their minds before sleeping. The in-context navigation - “Alarm”, “Mind Clear” and “Relaxing Music” integrates into the home screen content and are linked to independent screens. From the user feedback, reviewing the input information (time on exercise, stress level, etc.), taking notes to clear mind, and starting sleep tracking are the primary tasks on the home screen. I was wondering what can help the user confidently turn the app on in sleep mode and go to sleep without any worries. The “Pre-Sleep” screen is an additional and unnecessary step before the user can start tracking their sleep. The “Pre-Sleep” screen does not pre-populate answers already provided by the user in the “Profile” section. This level of detail is appropriate if the user wants to analyze their sleep for a specific day. The daily statistics shown on the “History” page does not show the user’s progress over time. The “Mind Clear” function is shown in multiple locations (for example on the “Pre-sleep” and the “Home" screens).Irrelevant information was presented in the “Mentor” screens. The sleep history and mentor chatting functions are not helpful in the scenario.Under this scenario, some potential issues were identified: S+ users use the app to turn on and off sleep mode and to start monitoring their sleep patterns with the home screen. The navigational elements on the home screen enable users to start using the main function immediately. In mobile apps, the home screen provides direct access to the most frequently used features. This saves time and avoids the risk of annoying the user. If “I sleep a lot but still feel tired during the day” is selected in the first question, the question “Are you tired during the day?” should not be shown to the user. Answers to previous questions are not used for subsequent questions. After the user fills out the questionnaire, the profile page shows all the possible answers rather than a summary of the user’s answers. This forces the user to scroll past all the questions when navigating forward or backward. The navigation bar is located at the bottom of each screen.Users don’t know which fields are required until they click “Next” and the “All fields must be entered” modal dialog window is shown. An ineffective questionnaire and form design might discourage users from moving forward to use the app. The profile survey allows users to personalize the behavior of the application to provide a better application experience.
